Quick Review

Running successfully in its third generation, Maruti Suzuki Swift has been a people’s car for more than a decade now in India. Post its introduction in 2005, this hatchback has undergone a lot of cosmetic and mechanical changes. The last update in late 2014, added a new variant and some new color scheme as well to this popular hatchback. With minor tweaks on the outside, Swift still remains a popular car among commuters as well as some enthusiasts. With its tried and tested design, the exterior however remains similar to its previous generation. Its curved and slopping bonnet with sliding creases on the corners reaches upto a new meshed pattern front grille which houses the Suzuki logo. The all black fog lamp cluster now houses silver accent finish on the sides which does make it upmarket. Its curved swept back headlamps adds on to the overall fluidic design of the Swift. Move on to the side and you will find up-scaled 15 inch alloy wheels which ups its stance on the road. The electronic ORVMs with turn indicators mounted on the A-pillar is well in sync with its overall design. Its all black pillars make it more sporty and urban while the chunky swept back tail-lamps extends to the rear quarter panel above the rear wheel arches which makes it quite unique. Available in a variety of color options and sporty variants Maruti Suzuki also offers the option of adding an additional front spoiler, side body kits and body graphics as well.
